critical to full stadiums and arenas.....win consistently enough that you breed an expectation of future wins.
Nothing plsses fans off more than to pay the money for the tickets, drive however many hours, lug all the gear for tailgating, and watch us blow a 20point lead to Okie St or kstate, or lose to Baylor with a backup QB, or lose to Vandy...ever, or lose to Indiana when we actaully are good, or score 12 points combined in 3 straight weeks, lost to MTSU and Kentucky in consecutive weeks.
Those things suck the absolute life out of the fanbase and MU is 20 years past going to games just for the social event.
