Bama has the kwan.
You can have a good program with mere coaching/talent evaluation
Guys like Snyder, Pinkel, Fry, Alvarez, Ferentz show that. But none of them won a natty. Had some moments but ultimately ran up against schools with the kwan.
Bottom line, a school like MU needs to invest in coaching first. They are rich enough to get a solid coach. Identifying that guy isn’t easy.
