No, it is a terrible rule. The refs are not the problem. The problem is the NCAA. The call was technically correct as per the way the rule is written. Some coaches wanted it changed to be more in line with the NFL but the NCAA said it is written just the way they want it. I saw several players that should have been ejected including the Bama player #99 who threw punches and the Missouri player getting hit should have been ejected with him because he punched a Bama linebacker laying on the ground. But the one guy who was ejected (for targeting) really didn't deserve it. The helmet contact was accidental.
