Just kidding. I like it.

I’ve always felt like Drew Lock is a young kid, a late bloomer. We’ve had great QBs that have reached that ‘All American’ level their Junior years. Chase Daniel and Blaine Gabbert.

Brad Smith was a huge talent, but heck he was still late coming into his own.. Senior year. James Franklin same. Most good, even great, QBs take a full 4 years.

Drew Lock is basically on schedule for that + NFL caliber skills. This is a very good recipe for Mizzou. And Lock. He is still, not surprisingly, under the radar. Not appreciated. Not feared. Therefore, not respected. Yet it’s all there - the experience, the talent, the desire, etc.

I’m thinking the Tigers will go as Drew Lock goes this year. And if you’re a contrarian, his “stock” is pretty damn cheap right now.
