I don't agree with that 100% hiring a coach to a down trodden program a lot of factors matter but for a program that had been at our level with a new glittery stadium you hire a coach who brings in talent any and every way possible and they must do it on a fast path to get the program up and running and back to the status quo.
If not you risk hamstringing the program for the long term as fans will sour to the handling of the situation from the AD.
Look at it this way if our New coach would of brought a pitcher with her and latched on to another transferring pitcher and limited the transfer's out to 1 or 2, I think most people would be more upbeat and a lot more optimistic for the upcoming seasons.
But that's not what happened at all, we seem to be taking several steps back and even Sterk has put a 3-4 year time table on fixing the issues. Which makes me wonder how stupid he is because in 3/4 years this program will be a glorified intramural program.
