yes, season 1 started very very slow, but did get better.

I wasn't down with season 2 at the beginning (although I noted that the acting, directing, and screenplay was much improved)....and that's probably because they were developing the arcs for each character. Once julia went to the reich...it started getting really really good.

I love Rufus Sewel (John Smith), he plays that character so well. He can be the epitome of evil yet have a way for you to root for him.
