where it turned into basically a Harlem Globetrotter like scrimmage in which we lost 86-37 and he went 1-13 from the field damaged him the remainder of the year. There was just no hope, and our offense was just so terrible, and things just kept getting worse as each game played out.

I guess that is wilting, but like the rest of the team I think they just checked out mentally and from a hope perspective.
