No idea if he'll take advantage of the opportunities or not. He's been pretty quiet. Not sure if that's just his personality, if he's been keeping his head down and working hard, or if that's a sign he's kind of distancing himself from the team.

Hughes and Geist will be Walton's major competition for minutes. CVL's playing time will depend almost exclusively on how well he is shooting (or not). And if he's shooting well, CVL will play a lot regardless of who else is out there.

Walton's driving ability and overall speed could be a great complement to CVL's shooting, but Hughes may be quicker, faster and a better shooter than Walton. If I were Walton, I would focus on improving defense and developing a mid-range game. Defense is the one area where I EXPECT Walton to outperform Hughes and Jackson.
