Nice...so nice that you appeased me

with an article from my hometown paper describing an upcoming game against the University of Washington ;o)

Only problem is that they were playing in an inferior conference, against inferior competition and won only 20 games to that point.

In that game against Washington they allowed 100 points, (scoring 102 to win it). As the erratic style of play would dictate, the scored 76 points in the next game which was an amazing win against a #4 ranked Kentucky team.

That team finished with 22 wins. An admirable run in the tournament, but as a whole I have trouble seeing the "style" being one that would instill fear into the likes of KU, OK, OK St. and the rest of the Big 12 who, as a whole, employs far superior athletes and coaches.

Like I said, I'm going to wait and see what sort of improvement they are able to muster with such a young collection of kids. If I see some progress both on and off the court then I can see myself getting excited about the future.

Thanks again for rekindling those memories from the 03-04 season!
