they have a bunch of companies that would likely want to pick and choose who they want representing them?
Company X will pay $100,000 to have a player at their big sales event... but may be on board with some players, but not others, or be willing to pay more for some players, but not others?
Company Y will pay 1% of sales on some item with the image of a player.
Company Z will pay $50,000 for a player to give autographs at an event.
and so on.
Per the article, some of the contracts are giving performance bonuses and increasing amounts from year to year, and reductions in pay if they don't meet certain criteria. If they have 5 or 10 or however many companies bundled in for some player the coaching staff wants, how would each of them structure their contracts to make it all come out like that?
