They got played & overpaid!

Boomer got a heck of a player, but they paid an insane amount for him. Texa$$ told him to walk after he turned down 1.5 from them..with other perks. & they were out of it days ago.
Apparently, in the end..it was us & Ou, and we spent the last few hours driving the price up further. There were already established rumblings about boomer not having the NIL up to par yet, in terms of payout amounts or proper marketing. This will hit the budget hard.
If he wins the Outland trophy, is an All American and is the difference in winning 10 games then it's worth it...but if not...this purchase will have eaten up a lot of future recruits.
